The University of Arizona will fund, build and own the 10-story research building that will stand just north of the Health Sciences Education Building.<br><br>– Continuing the campus’ goal of attracting private investment, Nantworks and ASU agreed in May 2015 to jointly develop 7 acres of land on the northwest part of the campus. This land will become the future home to the Chan Soon-Shiong Institute of Molecular Medicine at ASU and supporting facilities for manufacturing, diagnostics, mission control and decision support.<br><br>– In June 2015, Phoenix City Council approved a joint development plan of 60,000 sq. ft. between University of Arizona and Banner Health to construct an outpatient clinical and bioscience facilities.
